Miami Beach LookBook

i normally pack for trips days in advance, however, this was one of the first vacations post the big baby weight loss and the variety of summer clothes I had in my closet were minimal. I didn’t want to buy anything if I didn’t love it but I was able to get some things together for this trip:

Note: all images are shoppable! Click - Shop - Enjoy!!

this dress was perfect for walking along Collins and Washington Avenue. I didn’t have beach inspired tote so this one from Amazon came the next day and was great for holding all mine (and sometimes William’s) things and vlogging equipment

you guys know I love my neutrals, but there’s something about a tropical vacation that has me okay with wearing a little color. This dress fit in all the right places: it didn’t tug or pull around my stomach area, it gave the stretch I needed it to give around the hips and thighs, and it was at a length that I was comfortable with and didn’t have to worry about constantly pulling it down.

paired this dress with a cute evil eye clutch from Amazon and some of the most comfiest block denim heels I own from Target.

i got this dress last April with my partnership with Farfetch. It was a size XL and I could BARELY put it over my thighs much less zip it in the back. This dress was one of the sole reasons for my baby weight loss. I took one look at those rolls and thunder thighs and called a trainer and nutritionist with the quickness. It’s amazing at less than a year later, this dress is technically too big for me but I wanted to wear it on this trip as a ‘congratulations you did it Alicia’

the slit in the dress was just a VIBE! I also love the ruching on the sides and there’s something about seeing brown on brown skin!

NOTE: this retailer is not on LTK so linking it here

i have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this dress. I LOVE everything about this dress but i HATE that this dress is only available in 2 colors and they are both sold out (insert really sad face). They have this version in a top so of course I’m going to buy it but fingers crossed, Walmart will not only restock this dress, but make more color options.

this outfit LITERALLY came together on a whim. While exploring Collins Avenue, I checked out their local Free People store. I was going in to look for barrel jeans but of course they didn’t have my size. Checking out the rest of the store and came across these pants in the sale section. They were exactly my size and I took that as a sign that they wanted to come home with me. Paired with with a simple grey tee I was going to wear on the flight home and we now have what might have been one of my favorite fits of the week.
