The Best Jeans on the Market for Curvy Girls

I’m a jean lover. Always have been always will be. The number of jeans in my closet is embarrassing to say out loud but I’m not ashamed because that wasn’t always the case. There was a point where I only had 3 pairs of jeans. Not because of anything other than there weren’t many brands catering to women with curves.

Growing up I’ve always had some type of figure. I don’t ever remember being a size 2 or 4. I just went from juniors 13 straight to a size 8! Like whet???

Overtime, I had the issue where my hips and thighs are one-size, and my waist is a completely different size. I can’t count how many times I had to buy jeans to fit my thighs and get them tailored to fit my waist. It seems like the dream but when you’re paying 50-70 dollars for jeans and another 20 bucks for alterations, it can get annoying and taxing.

Then I found Old Navy and their new curve collection. I was skeptical as I’ve seen ‘curve’ on jeans before and there was ABSOLUTELY no stretch to conform to my body type. Much to my surprise, the size 8 actually fit. And not just fit but they fit perfectly! I immediately grabbed every size 8 in every wash and only wore Old Navy for years. More recently, some other brands have decided to jump on the bandwagon and cater to real women’s bodies. Here are a few of my favorites. *FYI: I’m only team high waist so if it doesn’t touch my belly button, it’s a no-go.
