I have to admit...I did a little more shopping this month than I normally do. In my defense, with spring coming, I needed to change my skin and haircare routine to account for the change in weather. Where I normally do heavy creams and cleansers in the winter because of the dry weather, I change up and go for lighter moisturizers and oils in the spring and summer. I also had no intention to.....well let's just get to it and I can better explain.

Trader Joes Vitamin E Oil - $3.99

I had my monthly facial appointment and my esthetician suggested I move from a lotion/crème moisturizer to an oil to help with the pores around my nose. It's lightweight and has several uses. I apply this at night after removing makeup and cleansing my face.

Biore Charcoal Pore Strips -  $5.64

Another product I picked up to help with the unclogging of my pores. I was a little cautious if it would work because of the low price point but I decided to try them out. The first time didn't pick up anything that I noticed but the second time I tried....let's just say I'm a believer now.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray- $7.00

I had no reason to pick this up other than I was in Ulta (buying stuff I didn't need) and this was in the checkout area. I heard people talk about it and decided to give it a try. I only use it when I'm done working out and need a little facial pick me up.

Trader Joe's Blueberry and Acai facial scrub - $3.99

Bought this off the whim and I loved it. It smells G-R-E-A-T and the scrub does help remove the dead skin from my face without being too harsh.

Trader Joe's Tea Tree Tingle Conditioner - $4.00

This isn't the first month that I've used this conditioner but felt the need to tell you guys about how good this product is. I have dealt with itchy scalp and realize that using tea trea oil/products really helps with calms my scalp. This conditioner as SOOO much slippage and leaves my hair soft and moisturized.

Marc Jacobs Foundation- $46.00

Okay so this really wasn't my fault. I go into Sephora to get my Fenty foundation, they didn't have my shade and suggested this was a good substitute (and me being gullable and quick to say yes to a sale) so I picked it up. It's lightweight so if you're going for something heavier, go with something else or add a heavy concealer (Tarte shape tape is my fave)

Eyeko Mascara - $19.50

This came in my Ipsy bag for March and found that it works great for my lashes. I have thin parched lashes and need a smaller bristle to make sure I get all strands of my lashes. I normally don't get volume with just my lashes and have to use falsies but this gives me a decent size of volume for my itty bitty lashes. What are some of your favorites for the month?~Cocoa Curls
